it's a day of love! and love was definitely felt early in the morning when presents and candies started to fill my desk! =) thankyou all who gave me stuff and everything! thankyou estee for the pink wand thingy which sent the whole class crazy about it. imagine the whole class walking to the library carrying this pink wand?! think we looked very retarded. and thankyou to sylvia my secret valentine for the lovely necklace! think this year, or maybe its just 312, valentine's day seems more significant! cos for the last two years, i dun think valentine's day has been a very prominent event. but anw yall are so nice! i kind of feel guilty. but nevermind. shiyun has bought her present for her secret valentine alr! ok... although its belated. but then its not about only the day itself right? anyday can be a day to share the love! . sounds corny. but its true!
school was spent listening in class, drawing, and trying to make space for my ws amidst the pile of presents. estee gave mrs ng the pink wand as well! lol! wonder what she'll do with it. x)
after school. plan to watch 27 dresses was through cos apparently it was not showing anymore-.- so me and amanda watched kung fu dunk. i mean after the crappy ah long show, i wanted to watch something more substantial. so ok, this was better. actually cj7 was supp to be better but i couldn't be bothered watching stuff about aliens. anw, while waiting for the movie, we shopped ard for my presents! and we went in artbox 4 times. and amanda was empathising with her dying rose... lol. and half the popcorn was gone before we even went in the cinema. but anw, thanks for spending my valentine with me! i really needed to go out.
ok so the journey back home wasn't the best thing. i got to the bus stop, looked at the directory thing, realised that there were more than 1 162 buses but they all reach my stop. so when this 162m bus came i just hopped on it, stupidly, not knowing that it was the long way!!! and so the bus went another way, and i got really worried. cos i couldn't make out the roads and all. and it was dark! but anw, i soon saw the familiar roads and realised i was on the right bus after all, just a longer one. ok, so i felt stupid. dun like taking the bus at night. it's depressing and easy to get lost.
takeaways for today:
1. valentine's day is more significant than i actually thought it was.
2. i should buy presents in advance! not like now, late and guilty. hehh.
3. i really have no direction sense. it's a long proven fact now.
ok. happy valentine's day everyone! i shall enjoy the last 50 mins of the day.
